Mobile Phone Tariff
Mobile Phone Tariff
There are a number of mobile phone services available in the market today. Most of these phone providers offer a wide variety of price rates, services, and of course, tariff options.
A mobile phone tariff is basically the process by which you pay your mobile phone. Although the price rate may sound more important, the amount that you're going to shell out every month is actually dependent on the mobile phone's tariff.
There are two popular ways to pay for your mobile phone. This includes the pay as you go option and the monthly phone service.
A pay as you go service allows the subscriber to pay their call or text accounts in advance. It is also referred to as pre-paid, pre-paid wireless, and top-up account as it allows the consumer to purchase a credit which will enable them to use the phone carrier' services.
This type of mobile phone tariff usually involves buying a cell phone transaction card or a “pre-paid card” which can be bought he provider's retail outlet. Some providers also offer a “top up” service where in the customer will load his or her phone line either through the Internet or via an ATM. Although the credit in a pay as you go service is limited, the user is not required to purchase or top up his or her line. This gives the customer a control over the amount that he or she will pay every month.
Another way to pay your phone line is through a monthly contract. In this type of service, phone usage is recorded and everything is charged or billed at the end of the month.
Unlike a pre-paid tariffs, a monthly service obliges the user to pay a certain amount every month. The credit however, is unlimited which makes this tariff ideal for heavy mobile phone user.
